Feedback on the Minnesota Core Competencies

If you're already using the core competencies we'd love to hear from you.  We are looking for funding for minor revisions of the core competencies, in the next year or two and we'd love to include your feedback. 

Please e-mail us at professionaldevelopment@mnaeyc.org and tell us;

1. What are the strengths of this document and what specific areas fit your setting?
2. What gaps or issues (e.g., missing indicators, inappropriate expectations) are revealed in this edition of the core competencies? Please be specific in your response.
3. What are some of the ways you or others you know are using this document?   
4. Any other suggestions or comments for improving the Minnesota Core Competencies? 
5. What is your role in the field?  (for example, do you work directly with children as a family child care provider or a teacher?  Do you teach at a college or provide training through a resource and referral agency?)
