MnPDC's May Meeting: Updates on Professional Development Initiatives

The next meeting of the MnPDC will be on Tuesday, May 23 from 1:00 -4:00. The meeting will be devoted to updates on statewide initiatives. We're excited about all of the people who are coming to this meeting to update us on important elements in our statewide professional development work. We'll hear from Jesse Schunk about her work on the Mn R&R's learning continuum, which she is almost done with. Barb Yates will update us on the Minnesota Early Learning Fund, Ann Kaner Roth will tell us about what happened in the 2006 legislative session and Catherine Cuddeback and Linda Garrett-Johnson will give us a brief update on what is going on at DHS. As always, there will be workgroup reports so you can catch up on work being done by the MnPD council workgroups. 

Since our old meeting space at the Junior Achievement Center has gotten quite a bit more expensive we are experimenting with new spaces, trying to find just the right place for the council This time Chysalis has generously offered to let us try their meeting room. Chrysalis is at 4432 Chicago Avenue in South Minneapolis. There are directions below as well as a link to a map. We look forward to seeing you there.
